*Wuthering Heights, a third of the way through. How many people does it take to tell a love story?
*The House of the Seven Gables, page 76. Required reading in Salem, but dull. I’ll just take a stroll by the house.
*The Dovekeepers, somewhere in Part Two. Set in 70 C.E—way too long ago. Ironically, way too long too.
*Finding a good book
*Movies from the 70s: a dim era for cinema. Should have given up on Taxi Driver after suffering through Midnight Cowboy.
*Finding the perfect winter coat
*The Republican reality show
*This year’s Oscar picks
*Rihanna

I agree with the Taxi Driver…I was told it was the best film of all time – my, was I disappointed!

That’s about the point that I gave up in Wuthering Heights too.

What you need is some fluff reading to tide you over. But if you want something classic-y + romance-mystery, try Rebecca.

You should still try The Godfather. I thought I’d be bored, but I really enjoyed it. Fabulous things came out of ’72!
